Looking for a well-fitted dress is a serious treasure hunt. No matter where we go and what we try on, nothing seems to work. At this point, you just want to give up and start over in 3 weeks. To the tell you the truth, the biggest stressor is that we’re not too sure about what we exactly want in a dress. It’s an easy fix though. Ladies, what you need is a dress that has structure and a precise cut.

Pretty Peplum

The peplum is a short overskirt that is attached to a fitted dress, jacket and blouse. It’s design is used to create an illusion that a woman has curves, accentuating the waistline and hips. Ideal for a woman who has a straight, boy-type figure, the peplum dress can help you look well-proportioned. Perfect for the office, meetings, and evening outings, the peplum dress can transform from day to night because of its simple yet well-defined cut and body-hugging fit. The length of the skirt usually hits right above the knee and/or right below the knee, which is modest and sophisticated. The peplum skirt is usually flared, hitting right at the pelvic bone area. The bodice is form-fitting, with short sleeves. Often times, you will find sleeveless designs.
