I had the opportunity to enjoy one of the most amazing concert weekends ever! From artists performing simultaneously to fans gallivanting the grounds, Coachella is a festival that should never be missed. This three day showcase of music and art takes place in the heat of the desert. Fans and celebrities alike were spotted in Indie outfits as they soaked up the Coachella sub.

Eryka Badu

Eryka Badu appeared a musical goddess as she performed such singles as “On and On.” She entered on stage in an Indian inspired black sheer wrap later revealing a eccentric yet amazing cargo overall set. She accessorized with intricate socks and cut out red booties.

Lauryn Hill

Lauryn Hill made a great comeback, appearing refreshed and ready. She wore an over sized stripped dress and cropped leather jacket. This outfit was perfect for the scorching weather, allowing the breeze to resonate. Lauryn topped it all off with 80′s inspired jewelry and a black top hat.

Rihanna

Although Rihanna didn’t perform, she came out to enjoy the festivities. She wore the ever so popular denim shorts, a basic printed tank and an army fatigue jacket. Rihanna accessorized with combat boots, as said comfortable shoes are essential for Coachella!

Vanessa Hudgens

Actresses came out as well, Vanessa was spotted in a black sheer skirt and cropped aqua top. Skirts such as these can be found at American Apparel. Vanessa accessorized with belts and headbands. This Indian trend was sewn through out Coachella, with fans literally dressed as Indians or using it as inspiration for their outfits.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry snuck into the crowd, wowing festival goers around. I thought that she was going to perform with Kanye, however she stuck to cameo appearances. Katy looked her usual cute and edgy self in a halter polka dot dress, white shades and a unique top hat.

Kanye West

Kanye West closed out the Coachella Festival, leaving me completely amazed. A true performer, fans flocked from all over to watch his theatrical show. The whole time I kept repeating, “I love his shirt.” Guys, this is an example on how to wear a silk patterned shirt with a large gold chain, and not look like you are stuck in the 80′s. He paired his shirt with grey straight leg denim and sneakers. Ladies, you can substitute this look with legging pants or denim shoots.
