According to United Nations we have about 192countries on this beautiful planet. Each week I take time to pick one that catches my attention. I love funky techno, house music, which isn’t the music that you listen at your house and trance music. The Netherlands always produces some of the best DJs in the world. This is why I wanted to see what they have to contribute to the fashion world.
Welcome to Netherlands - the clog country or as most of us like to call it, Holland. Yes it’s the same place and no I’m not introducing you to the coolest clog designer of the world. But I’ll be sure to do the research if anyone interested!
I was sick and tired of 3D, which was reiterated once I came across Antoine Peters. I miss the time of Tom and Jerry and the 2D world that surrounded me as a child. I truly fell in love with Antoine’s recent Spring/Summer 2010 Collection called “The World Is Flat.” The highlight being his childlike yet chic shoes! He took inspirations from coloring books and created really fun fabrics. It’s MOD, it’s Hip and it’s Funkadelic baby.
