Rihanna Costume Duo: Come Eh Rude Boy Boy Can You Git It Up!
For this week’s City Chic I had to focus on the fiercefemales who made dressing up for Halloween a fashion affair. While wanna be Barbie’s were makingEPIC FAILED attempts to emulate Nicki Minaj all weekend, these Queens made itwork with these Rihanna costumes! I love the fact that these two girls are bothrepresenting Rihanna in different scenes. Bre (left) is representing Rihanna from the “Rude Boy” video, whileNgozi (right) is representing Rihanna in one of her costumes from the “Last Girlon Earth” Tour. It was so crazyhow Ngozi got Rihanna down to a Tee! If you can’t picture it, check the pic:
I absolutely am in love with the fact that Bre used a piece of jewelry, a flexible snake necklace/bracelet to be exact, and a purple scarf to create a bandeau top. The black and white “Rude Boy” leggings, sequence hat andover sized hoops are definitely the key pieces to this look. The best part about these costumes isthe fact that they can be worn on a regular day (by the right people), andstill look fierce. You may get afew crazy stares by the basics/locals but its just because they know they cantpull it off. HA!
