Expect to see a lot of pink and red hues for Fall 2010. Color always adds an exciting touch to any upcoming season. Marchesa debuted a line with intricate ruffle detailing, attention grabbing dresses and perfect constructions. If you have a slew of couture events to attend, then this is the collection for you. Each piece looks as if it where made of a fairytale.
Marchesa Designers: Georgina and Keren
Georgina and Keren are British designers who met at the College of Art and Design in London. Georgina focused on costume design, while Keren focused on embroidery. Marchesa was then established in 2004. Marchesa has become known for elegant evening wear, inspired by asian and vintage influences.

We love look 3, the one shoulder bright blue mini dress. The flower embroidery is perfectly placed, as not to over power the rich color. It is a show stopping piece at the least. Perfect for an upscale cocktail party with towering nude pumps and matching patent clutch. Look 5 is simply exquisite, it appears as if the top is painted on. This couture creation is sexy, feminine and unique. The black lace paint detail paired with the volume skirt create and dramatic look. Perfect with black laced detailed booties. Out of all the evening gowns shown, look 12 is by far our favorite. The way the dress transitions from a lace mini dress to a breathtaking chiffon creations, is pure genius.
