This fall and winter seem to be about using transition pieces to create a flawless wardrobe. Winter shorts are a trend that has been seen sprinkled here and there during Fall/Winter 2008. Simply take a pair of your summer’s tailored shorts or jean shorts, add opaque stockings and you are good to go. This look is appropriate for a shopping day on the town, lunch for two or other casual occasions. Suitable for warmer Fall/Winter 2009 weather only!

As state previously, simply pair together denim shorts, a wool cardigan and opaque tights. To add more personality, begin adding vests, scarves and flat thigh high boots.
